GATE Exam Pattern 2022
- GATE exam will be computer-based will be conducted online.
- You will be given 3 hours for the exam.
- There will be a total of 29 papers in this exam.
- The exam will be of MCQ/MSQ and NAT type.
- In this, you will be given two sections, the first section is General Aptitude [GA] and the second section is the candidate’s selected subject.
- In the GA section, you will be given 10 questions, 55 questions will be given for the subject and a total of 65 questions will be given.
- The exam will be a total of 100 marks, in which 15 marks will be given for GA and 85 marks will be given for Subject.
- All questions will be of 1 or 2 marks for which the rules are different.
- There will be 1/3 negative marking for 1 mark question.
- There will be negative marking as per 2/3 for the question of 2 marks.
- In GATE there will be 0 negative markings for the section of NAT.
